The Chief Executive Officer of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, has predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) will eventually become an integral part of every company and industry worldwide.
Huang made the remarks during a visit to Stockholm, Sweden, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, where he called on Europe to accelerate the development of its artificial intelligence industry.
“Every single company will be an AI company eventually. Every single industry will be impacted by AI,” Huang said at an event during his European tour.
He stressed the importance of developing the entire AI technology ecosystem, including data centres, computing infrastructure, chatbots and other applications, noting that Europe needed to strengthen its capacity across the sector to remain competitive.
Speaking to the Agence France-Presse (AFP), Huang disclosed that Nvidia had invested $8 billion in Europe over the past year, with additional investments worth several billion dollars in the pipeline.
He cited British data centre and AI cloud provider Nscale and Dutch cloud provider Nebius as examples of companies receiving investments to support the development of Europe’s AI ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Sweden recently launched Sferical One, a supercomputer powered by Nvidia chips designed to keep sensitive Swedish data and expertise within the country.
Also, Volvo Cars announced an expansion of its partnership with Nvidia to improve safety technology in its planned self-driving vehicles, highlighting the growing adoption of AI across different sectors.
