A Nigerian woman has expressed frustration over the rising cost of food items after spending N10,000 on what she described as a disappointingly small quantity of Titus fish.
The woman, identified as Ijeoma, shared a video showing the fish she purchased at the market while appealing to those responsible for its production and sale to make it more affordable.
In the video, she humorously questioned whether Titus fish was now being manufactured in factories, as she called on its “manufacturers” to reduce the price and make life easier for ordinary Nigerians.
She lamented that the amount of fish she received for N10,000 was too small considering the money she had spent, expressing concern over the growing difficulty of affording basic food items.
Her video has since sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians pointing to the rising cost of food and the increasing pressure it places on household budgets.
