Nigeria at 66: Plateau Express CEO Gwott Calls for Renewed Commitment to Nation Building

The Group Managing Director/CEO of Plateau Express Services Group, Hon. Dr. Samuel Jok Gwott, has called for renewed commitment to nation building, unity and responsible service as Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.

In his Independence Day message, Gwott described the anniversary as an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the country’s journey, the resilience of its people and the collective responsibility required to build stronger institutions and communities.

He stressed that sustainable national development depends on citizens and institutions embracing service, accountability, peace and development in their respective areas of responsibility.

According to him, Plateau Express Services Group continues to contribute to the development of Plateau State through initiatives focused on improving mobility, strengthening service delivery and connecting communities across the state.

Gwott also congratulated Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, and the people of the state on the Independence celebration.

He acknowledged the administration’s emphasis on unity, peace and development under its “Time Is Now” agenda.

The Plateau Express CEO extended his goodwill to Nigerians at home and abroad, expressing optimism that the 66th Independence Anniversary would inspire greater confidence in the country’s future.

“May this Independence Day renew our collective faith in the possibilities of our country and inspire us to keep building with purpose, unity and hope,” Gwott stated.

He wished Nigerians a peaceful and memorable 66th Independence Anniversary, while urging citizens to continue contributing to the growth and development of the nation.
