Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Neymar, has named Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, as his world best player ever.
Neymar, a former teammate with Messi during his time at the Camp Nou,
believes the Argentine captain is the best player in the world he has
ever seen.
The 27-year-old, however, noted that it was an honour to play with Messi at Barcelona.
“For me, he’s the best player in the world,” Neymar told Oh My Goal
in a Q&A interview in the United States. “The best that I’ve ever
seen play.
“We made a magnificent duo, it was a pleasure for me and an honour to play with him. And on top of that, he’s my friend.”
Neymar has been consistently linked with a return to Barcelona since joining PSG for a world-record deal of £222 million.
