Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has released the third instalment of his tell-all series, continuing his account of the circumstances that led to the breakdown of his relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their former manager and elder brother, Jude Okoye.
In the lengthy video, Mr P alleged that he discovered he was no longer a signatory to the Northside Entertainment bank account while attempting to obtain the company’s statement of account.
According to him, further investigations uncovered royalty transactions that he claimed he had no prior knowledge of. He alleged that payments made by music aggregators were being shared without his consent or awareness and questioned why he had not been informed about the earnings.
Mr P further alleged that following the breakup of P-Square in 2017, royalties that should have been paid to Northside Entertainment were instead redirected to another entity known as Northside Music.
According to the singer, documents he obtained showed that more than $1.2 million in royalties had been paid into the Northside Music account between 2017 and 2023, insisting that he neither approved nor consented to the arrangement.
He also claimed that when he confronted Jude Okoye over the alleged discrepancies, he did not receive satisfactory explanations.
Mr P recounted conversations with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, saying he repeatedly tried to convince him that there were irregularities requiring investigation before their relationship deteriorated further.
The singer maintained that his decision to publicly address the dispute was not motivated by a desire to tarnish anyone’s reputation but to share his own account after years of remaining silent.
The latest release is the third episode in Mr P’s ongoing series detailing the long-running family and business dispute involving himself, Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye.
