A confrontation between singer Kizz Daniel’s security team and an interviewer has sparked reactions online after the media personality was pushed to the ground while attempting to speak with the singer.
The incident occurred backstage at the Supremacy Concert in Lagos shortly after Kizz Daniel finished his performance and was making his way out of the venue.
In a video circulating online, the interviewer, identified as Advee of Advee Media, could be seen attempting to get a quick interview with the singer. However, security personnel moved to prevent him from approaching Kizz Daniel.
The interviewer continued trying to reach the singer despite being stopped, after which one of the security personnel pushed him to the ground. He later claimed that his microphone was damaged during the encounter.
The incident generated reactions on social media, with some users criticising the interviewer for continuing to pursue the singer after being stopped, while others questioned the handling of the situation by the security team.
Following the controversy, Advee released another video in which he apologised to Kizz Daniel, his team and the organisers of the Supremacy Concert. He acknowledged that his approach during the encounter was unprofessional and explained that his excitement at the opportunity to meet the singer contributed to his persistence.
