Media entrepreneur and digital strategist, Matthew Tegha, has called on creatives, content creators, and media professionals to continuously adapt to the evolving media environment in order to remain relevant in an increasingly competitive digital space.
Tegha made the call during his presentation at Creative Conclave 1.0 held in Jos, Plateau State, where he emphasized the need for adaptability, continuous learning, and diversification of skills within the creative industry.
He noted that the media and creative ecosystem is undergoing rapid transformation driven by shifting audience behaviour, technological advancement, and the emergence of new digital platforms, all of which demand a more flexible and forward-thinking approach from practitioners.
According to him, creatives must be willing to reinvent themselves, embrace innovation, and explore multiple opportunities within the digital economy rather than relying on a single skill or platform.
He further encouraged participants to position themselves strategically by building relevant competencies that align with current industry demands, stressing that sustainability in the creative sector depends on the ability to evolve with time.
The Creative Conclave 1.0 brought together media professionals, content creators, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders for discussions on emerging trends shaping the future of media and creativity.
Speakers at the event explored topics around digital storytelling, branding, content monetisation, audience engagement, and the role of technology in reshaping creative expression.
Participants were also encouraged to explore modern tools that enhance productivity and creativity, while maintaining originality and professional ethics in their work.
The event concluded with networking sessions aimed at fostering collaboration among creatives and strengthening the creative and media ecosystem in the region.
