Victor Osimhen has sent a strong message to rival clubs after helping Galatasaray S.K. secure the Turkish Super Lig title following a thrilling 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor.
The Nigerian striker scored twice in the decisive encounter as Galatasaray sealed the league crown ahead of rivals Fenerbahçe S.K. and Trabzonspor, capping off another dominant campaign in Turkish football.
Speaking during the post-match celebrations, Osimhen declared that Galatasaray are not ready to surrender their dominance anytime soon.
“Keep talking. We’ll be back here next season. We’ll come again next season. We’re coming,” he said.
“Istanbul is ours. We’ll handle it. I promise you. You’re just trying. Keep trying.
“Many of you can’t do anything! Whatever you do, you can’t stop me, you can’t stop us! You won’t be able to stop us!”
Osimhen has played a major role in Galatasaray’s title-winning season, scoring 15 league goals in 21 appearances to help power the club to another championship.
The league triumph marks the striker’s second title with Galatasaray since arriving from SSC Napoli on an initial loan deal last season.
The 27-year-old has now won three league titles in his professional career, having previously lifted the Serie A trophy with Napoli during the 2023/24 campaign.
