The All Progressives Congress has released an updated list of senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the party’s Senate primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development was contained in a press statement issued on May 18, 2026, in Abuja by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to the statement, the updated list forms part of the party’s ongoing efforts to ensure transparency, orderliness, and credibility in the conduct of its primary election process nationwide.
The APC urged party members, aspirants, and stakeholders to uphold the integrity of the exercise and cooperate with the party leadership throughout the process.
“The APC urges all stakeholders to uphold transparency, orderliness, and the integrity of the ongoing Primary Election process,” the statement read.
The party, however, did not provide further details in the statement regarding the affected aspirants or the reasons for their disqualification.
The APC Senate primary elections are expected to hold as part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
