As Commercial activities continued at the 2016 Jos Trade Fair, Monday 24th October, 2016, was the start up of Special Days at the Trade Fair Ground, Jos Polo Field. The day was marked as Plateau State Southern Zone Day, a combination of six(6) Local Governments in the State (Langtang North, Langtang South, Shendam, Qa’an-Pan, Wase and Mikang).
The Occasion was well attended by dignitaries, Elder State Men, Caretaker Committee Chairmen, Supervisory Counselors, Members of the Chambers, Exhibitors and the Press.
The Special Guest of Honor at the Occasion was Pastor Sargwak Wazi.
The Governor Rt. Hon. Barr Simon Lalong was represented by the Commissioner for Special Duities, Hon Hitlar Dadi, in his speech, he commended the effort of PLACCIMA and Anista Marketing and events for the effective kick off and management of the 2016 Jos Trade Fair, furthermore he encouraged the people of the Plateau Southern Zone to Focus on Agricultural Produce as Food in the country has become a holding point.
The Chairman Langtang North, Hon. Daniel, gave the Vote of thanks at the end and ushered guests present for a tour to the Local Government Pavilion.
