The Irigwe community decided to stage a protest on Tuesday 13th March, to draw the attention of the nation to the
daily killings following the killings in Miango district of Bassa LGA last week
(during the visit of President Buhari to Jos),
Starting at the old JUTH Mortuary where most of the dead bodies are
lodged, the group took the dead and parade them through
streets in Jos as a means of drawing the attention of the world to what
is happening.
The speaker of the house of assembly, Hon Peter Azi was sighted at the mortuary too.
