Minister of Works, David Umahi, has asserted that his political influence and standing have grown significantly since he served as governor of Ebonyi State.
Umahi made the remark while speaking at a political gathering, a video of which is currently circulating on X (formerly Twitter).
According to the minister, he is now “ten times bigger” than he was during his tenure as governor, claiming that his current position has elevated his capacity and influence.
“Come together. Tell your sons and daughters to come together. Let them approach me and state their needs, and they will be attended to,” Umahi said.
He added: “I am ten times bigger than when I was governor. I am very dangerous now. God has blessed the Umahi family beyond wealth, and we are capable of funding anything.”
His comments have drawn attention as Nigerians continue to watch how political influence is wielded by leaders in public office.
