A remarkable wedding involving two sets of identical twins has taken place in Akwa Ibom State, with twin sisters marrying twin brothers in a ceremony that attracted family members, friends and well-wishers.
The brides, Roselyn and Joycelyn Bernard, are from Nung Efa Community in Obio Offot, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, while the grooms, Victor and Vincent Obasi, hail from Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State.
At the wedding, Joycelyn married Victor, while Roselyn exchanged marital vows with Vincent.
The traditional marriage ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Primary School, Obio Offot, on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The couples had earlier held their church wedding at Peculiar Citizens Assembly.
The two couples drew attention because of their striking resemblance, with the brides sharing similar facial features, height, complexion and smiles. The grooms also share remarkably similar physical features.
