Guinness World Record holder and food influencer, Hilda Baci, has taken delivery of the massive pot designed for her latest record attempt—to cook the world’s biggest pot of jollof rice.
The giant red pot, with a volume of 22,619 litres, was fabricated in Gbagada and transported overnight to Eko Hotel in Lagos, the venue of the highly anticipated event.
Videos circulating online show the branded pot, sponsored by Gino, being delivered under close supervision.
Confirming the development on Instagram, Hilda shared her excitement:
“At 4am this morning our pot was safely transported from Gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko Hotel where the event is taking place. I’m still pinching myself—this is actually happening in less than 24 hours.”
