Former lawmaker and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Gwani Muhammad Adam Alkali, has successfully undergone screening by the party’s House of Representatives Screening Committee in Abuja ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Alkali, who previously represented the Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives, appeared before the screening panel alongside Abba Bichi.
The screening exercise, conducted by the APC House of Representatives Screening Committee, was described as a demonstration of the aspirants’ readiness, leadership capacity, and commitment to the party’s vision for effective representation and service delivery.
Supporters and party loyalists expressed optimism that the successful screening would pave the way for victory at the APC primaries and the 2027 polls.
Prayers and goodwill messages have continued to trail the development, with supporters expressing confidence in Alkali’s political experience and ability to deliver quality representation if elected.
