Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday welcomed popular American internet personality and streamer, Kai Cenat, to the Lagos House, Marina.
The visit was disclosed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, in a post shared on X.
According to Gawat, Cenat, who is visiting Lagos for the second time, paid a courtesy visit to the governor, during which he shared his experiences in the state.
He noted that the globally recognised streamer is in Lagos to advance discussions on projects and initiatives targeted at children and young people in Lagos State.
Kai Cenat is one of the most influential streamers in the world, with millions of followers across platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where his content enjoys massive engagement, particularly among young audiences.
State officials did not disclose details of Cenat’s schedule or specific engagements during his stay in Lagos.
The visit comes shortly after another American streamer, IShowSpeed, toured Lagos, an appearance that generated widespread attention and engagement across social media platforms.
