Following the acquisition of 70% shares in Hills station Hotels Jos by the Plateau state Government, as against her former interest of 25%, the State government under the Rescue Mission Administration, has embarked on massive renovation to restor the hotel which was once a pride and tourism hive on the Plateau, to her former status.
Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong on Friday 7 July, 2017. was on an
unscheduled visit to Hills Station Hotels in Jos. The visit was to
inspect the ongoing renovation and re-positioning of the hotel to boost
the tourism potential of the state.
