Gagdi Screened, Cleared for Third-Term Bid for PKK Federal Constituency Seat

Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has been screened and cleared by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for a third term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Rt. Hon. Gagdi disclosed this on Sunday after appearing before the screening committee of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja.

According to him, he was the first aspirant from Plateau State to undergo the screening process for a third-term bid to continue representing the people of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

The lawmaker described the exercise as successful and commended the screening committee for its professionalism and fairness throughout the process.

The committee was chaired by Uche Ekwunife and included Angela Obende alongside eight other members.

Gagdi expressed appreciation to the people of the constituency for their continued support, confidence and trust in his leadership over the years.

“I remain profoundly grateful to the people of PKK Federal Constituency for the confidence, trust and unwavering support they have continued to repose in me throughout this journey of representation and service,” he stated.

The federal lawmaker pledged to continue providing purposeful leadership and quality representation if given another opportunity to serve.

“By the grace of Almighty Allah, and with the continued prayers and support of the people, I shall remain committed to the advancement of the collective interests of our constituency,” he added.

Gagdi also reaffirmed his commitment not to take the support of his constituents for granted as preparations intensify ahead of the party primaries and the 2027 elections.
