Filling stations across Nigeria have reduced petrol pump prices following recent price cuts by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and Dangote Refinery.
According to a report by Daily Post, checks in Abuja on Tuesday showed that major outlets, including Mobil, NIPCO, AP Ardova and Eterna, have lowered their pump prices to between ₦1,280 and ₦1,296 per litre, down from previous rates of ₦1,370 to ₦1,390.
The adjustment represents a reduction of between ₦90 and ₦94 per litre across the affected filling stations.
The development comes shortly after the NNPCL reduced its petrol price to ₦1,295 per litre from ₦1,361.
Similarly, the Dangote Refinery last Friday announced a reduction in its gantry price by ₦85 to ₦1,200 per litre, following a series of price increases in March 2026 driven by crude oil market volatility linked to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
