Enekwechi Wins Gold at Znamensky Memorial with 21.27m Shot Put Throw

Nigerian shot put athlete Chukwuebuka Enekwechi delivered another strong international performance on Saturday, winning gold at the prestigious Znamensky Memorial in Russia.

Enekwechi dominated the field event with a best throw of 21.27 metres, a mark none of his competitors were able to surpass throughout the competition.

Mexico’s Juan Vazquez Gomez finished second with a throw of 20.13 metres, while Romania’s Andrei Rareș Toader claimed third place after recording 20.02 metres.

The victory adds another major achievement to Enekwechi’s growing list of international successes and further strengthens his reputation as one of Africa’s leading field athletes.

Over the years, the Nigerian has established himself as a consistent performer on the global stage, representing the country at major championships and regularly delivering competitive results in elite shot put events.
