Eight-year-old American singer Aura V has made history as the youngest individually credited Grammy winner.

Aura V, performing with her father in the group FYÜTCH & Aura V, won Best Children’s Music Album for Harmony at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.

With this win, Aura V surpasses the previous record held by Blue Ivy, the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who won her first Grammy in 2021 at the age of nine for Best Music Video as part of Brown Skin Girl at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

The song Brown Skin Girl also features Beyoncé, Nigerian singer Wizkid, and Guyanese rapper Saint Jhn. However, Saint Jhn was not individually credited for the Grammy because he did not appear in the music video.

Aura V’s achievement sets a new milestone in Grammy history, highlighting the growing recognition of young talent in the music industry.
