Music executive and Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has revealed that singer Ayra Starr has had a profound impact on his life, saying the young star changed his life just as much as he helped shape her career.
Don Jazzy made this known in response to an online user who shared an old photo of Ayra Starr and credited him with “saving” her career, suggesting that she might have remained a kindergarten teacher without his intervention.
However, Don Jazzy offered a different perspective, stating that Ayra Starr also transformed his own life.
He recalled discovering the singer through an Instagram freestyle video and described himself as fortunate that someone brought the performance to his attention.
According to the music executive, Ayra Starr was “a dream,” praising her talent and acknowledging the significant personal and professional impact she has had on him.
Don Jazzy signed Ayra Starr to Mavin Records in 2020 after she gained attention through freestyle performances and cover songs shared on social media.
