Dj TBrown & Poet Younglan join digital content platform, Alewa House

Prolific Jos-based Nigeria DJ TBrown and rising poet known as Younglan have both joined in as new creatives as newly signed to Nigeria’s digital content distribution and monetization platform, Alewa House.

Alewa House who earlier signed Nigeria’s alternative artiste, Edge Golbador went on to add the two new creatives for global export.

Founder/President of Alewa House, Retnan Daser while speaking on the occasion noted that; It was a hugely exciting time in the industry, with startup-driven disruption enabling new models for artists and media companies alike. Fueled by a young population, great musical talent, and more streaming opportunities, Africa’s music industry is booming, and creative companies are taking notice.

“We want to try to support local players and use their knowledge base to build a business and work with them as partners. Our strategy has been really focused on trying to help local players really scale and really give them the support and the capital to get bigger or to operate more effectively,” said Daser.

According to Heman, the digital platform will give Africans and non-Africans, a fantastic new sphere of brilliant second to none entertainment, adding that My Crib Music, one of the company’s platform is dedicated to distributing the most engaging and original content that covers media and entertainment from both Alewa House creators and notable third-party partners.

“The platform will continue to delight both the creators and users in new ways. And with innovative cutting-edge entertainment videos, art, stories and music, as well as so many breaking content from across Africa. Many people and their families visit the site multiple times a day,” Daser added.

Also speaking the company’s co-founder/COO Joe Heman, said Alewa house is now known for delivering Afro-centric media and entertainment content across the globe. He said Alewa House aims to support sustainable creative initiatives in Africa by empowering content creators to learn, produce, distribute and monetize their works.

The company will introduce to signees elements that include new media, marketplace services and products, content production, distribution and marketing, video streaming and advertising that would enhance their works.
Daser and Heman have carried out substantial groundwork to make Alewa House the number one digital ecosystem platform in Africa.
“At the core of every digital ecosystem is a platform business model, and Alewa House has built an extremely robust tech infrastructure to support its omni-media platform,” added Heman.

Heman also noted that the media outfit provides a perfect new media and entertainment platform for young talented creators and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), thus, empowering them to export and create a global market for commercially feasible Afro-centric content.
