The Selfless Service Campaign Organisation 2027 has called on the electoral committee responsible for the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State House of Assembly primary election in Jos South Constituency to declare Ayuba Dalyop Mandung, popularly known as AYUDEH, as the authentic winner of the exercise held on May 20, 2026.
In a press statement signed by the organisation’s Secretary, Gyang Samuel Thomas, the group alleged that the results of the primary election were manipulated during the collation process.
According to the organisation, a review of figures obtained from polling units and federal wards across Jos South Constituency showed that Ayuba Mandung polled 3,489 votes to emerge ahead of other aspirants.

The statement listed the scores of the aspirants as follows: Ayuba Dalyop Mandung with 3,489 votes, Mancha John Vincent with 3,446 votes, Dalyop Isaac Gyang with 3,349 votes, Gwomson Giwa with 1,321 votes, and Dalyop Gyang Pam with 389 votes.
The campaign organisation alleged that results from Giring Federal Ward were altered during collation, claiming that Mancha John Vincent’s score was increased from 325 votes to 1,205 votes.
It also alleged that Dalyop Isaac Gyang’s votes in the ward were raised from 97 to 197 during the collation process.
The group said the alleged manipulation compromised the credibility and integrity of the election outcome.
The organisation further disclosed that results from Turu Federal Ward were cancelled after violence reportedly erupted during collation, leading to the destruction of result sheets.

It, however, maintained that before the disruption, Ayuba Mandung had secured 686 votes in the ward, while Mancha John Vincent scored 60 votes, Dalyop Isaac Gyang polled 65 votes, Dalyop Gyang Pam had 96 votes, and Gwomson Giwa recorded 371 votes.
According to the statement, correcting the disputed Giring Federal Ward figures to reflect what it described as the original polling unit results would still leave Ayuba Mandung with a winning margin of 43 votes over his closest rival.
The organisation therefore urged the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, the electoral committee, and other stakeholders to uphold fairness, justice, and internal democracy by declaring what it described as the genuine winner of the election.
It also stated that Mandung had remained peaceful and committed to democratic ideals throughout the process, while insisting that the mandate allegedly given to him by party members across Jos South Constituency must be respected.
