Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has honoured the memory of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, during his white wedding to Chioma Rowland.
The singer wore specially crafted cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s image for the Miami, United States, ceremony. Davido shared a close-up of the sentimental accessory on his Instagram story on Sunday.
The glamorous white wedding followed the couple’s traditional ceremony in 2024 and was attended by top figures from Nigeria’s business, political, and entertainment circles. Music stars Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile were also present, having joined the couple for their pre-wedding dinner days earlier.
Speaking on the opulence of the celebration, Davido revealed that the event cost a staggering $3.7 million.
“We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy,” he said.
