Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly preparing to marry his long-time partner, Georgina Rodríguez, this weekend after years of speculation surrounding their relationship.
According to multiple reports, the couple are expected to exchange vows on Saturday, August 8, in Madeira, Portugal, Ronaldo’s hometown. The ceremony is reportedly planned for Funchal Cathedral, with a reception to follow at the luxury Savoy Palace Hotel.
Wedding rumours first intensified after the couple were seen wearing matching diamond rings during a family holiday in Mallorca. Earlier speculation that they would marry on August 1 proved inaccurate, but fresh reports now suggest preparations are underway for a ceremony this weekend.
Neither Ronaldo nor Rodríguez has officially confirmed the wedding date or venue.
The couple, who have been together since 2016 after meeting in Madrid, announced their engagement in August 2025. They share two daughters and are also raising Ronaldo’s other children together.
If the reported plans go ahead, the wedding will mark another milestone in one of football’s most high-profile relationships.
