Portuguese football superstar and Al Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed the most expensive item he has ever bought — a private jet.
Ronaldo made the disclosure during an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, where he discussed his wealth, family, and future ambitions.
When asked by Morgan about his reported billionaire status, Ronaldo corrected him, saying he had achieved that milestone “many years ago.”
“Not true,” he said. “No, I became a billionaire many years ago! I know how much money I have — not precisely, but most of it. Becoming a billionaire was one of the main goals that I had.”
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner confidently added:
“I am the only billionaire in football. The numbers don’t lie. Call me cocky, but it doesn’t surprise me that I am the only billionaire in football. When you look at all the records, Cristiano Ronaldo will be there on top of the list.”
When Morgan pressed further about the most expensive thing he has ever bought, Ronaldo revealed it was his Global Express private jet, which he has owned for over a decade.
“The most expensive thing? Plane. Global Express. I’ve had a plane for 13 years, but I changed it one year ago, so it’s a little bit expensive,” he said with a smile.
The interview also touched on Ronaldo’s mindset toward success and his determination to remain at the pinnacle of football both on and off the pitch.
