Grammy-winning Nigerian afrobeat star, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has named his top three greatest footballers of all time — leaving out Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking on GOAT Talk, a YouTube series by Complex where celebrities debate their best and worst picks across various topics, Burna Boy listed former Super Eagles captain Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha, Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, and current Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as his football GOATs.
His choices reflect both national pride and admiration for flair, with Okocha and Ronaldinho widely regarded among the most skilful players in football history. The pair also shared the pitch during their time at Paris Saint-Germain.
