The All Progressives Congress is set to officially declare the results of its House of Representatives primary elections at the party’s state secretariat in Jos amid growing circulation of unofficial results on social media.
Party officials, aspirants, supporters, and stakeholders have gathered at the APC state secretariat ahead of the anticipated announcement of winners from the various federal constituencies across Plateau State.

Meanwhile, earlier the Plateau State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Wumana Bako, has cautioned residents against relying on results and declarations currently trending online.
Speaking in a telephone interview in Jos, Bako described the viral results as the handiwork of overzealous supporters of some aspirants.
He clarified that the APC primary elections, which commenced nationwide with the House of Representatives primaries on Saturday, are being supervised by a committee sent from the APC National Secretariat.
“Only the committee from the National Secretariat has the authority to announce the results of each federal constituency. This will be done at the Plateau State APC Secretariat in Jos after proper collation,” he stated.
According to him, collation officers deployed to the various local government areas are expected to return to Jos for final collation and official declaration of winners.
Bako urged party members and the general public to remain patient and await authentic results from the designated authorities.
The official declaration is expected to confirm the APC candidates for the House of Representatives seats ahead of the 2027 general elections.
