AIESEC Alumni Nigeria is holding her 2017 Congress in Jos the
Plateau State Capital. Scheduled for 26th to 29th October 2017. Thursday 26th October witnessed the arrival and opening plenary of members. See Photos below…

This years conference with the Theme “Oceans of
opportunities: Taking charge of change” will be lined up with activities
including; A Seminar, Business Award Dinner, Shere-Hills Hiking
Expedition, Live Band and grills experience night and more…

 

 

AIESEC is the world’s largest non-profit youth-run organization. It is
an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that
provides young people with leadership development and cross-cultural
global internship and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe,
with a focus to empower young people so they can make a positive impact
on society. The AIESEC network includes approximately 70,000 members in
127 countries and territories.

AIESEC was originally a French acronym for Association internationale
des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales (English:
International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial
Sciences); however, the full name is no longer officially used as
members can now be graduate and undergraduate from any university
background.

AIESEC is a non-governmental organization
in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social
Council (ECOSOC), is affiliated with the UN DPI and UN’s Office of the
Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, member of ICMYO, and is recognized
by UNESCO. AIESEC’s international headquarters are
in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

 HISTORY

The AIESEC ALUMNI Nigerian chapter was established in
1979. Since then, it has engaged itself in various activities such as
organizing symposia, talks, quarterly business luncheons and conferment
of honorary awards to Nigerians and practitioners who have distinguished
themselves in management. These programs enable managers to exchange
ideas, assisting and supporting AIESEC Nigeria to achieve its goals and
organizing the OMOLAYOLE ANNUAL MANAGEMENT LECTURES.

AIESEC
Alumni Nigeria (AAN) is the platform for AIESEC alumni to achieve their
potential on an international and national level. Through its
memberships, the association will continue to promote international,
national and cross-cultural understanding, in line with the founding
principles of AIESEC, for the professional and personal development of
its members and the good of society.

AIESEC ALUMNI NIGERIA also
participate in the numerous programs organized by AIESEC Alumni
international among which are annual AIESEC Alumni Congress, the
international presidents meetings and the international business forum.
These among other opportunities abound in AIESEC Alumni Nigeria towards
building and creating future managers and entrepreneurs to face the
management challenges tomorrow.

Over the years of
establishment AIESEC ALUMNI NIGERIA has contributed to the growth of
AIESEC in Nigeria, Member of AAN’s personal and organizational
development and also its immediate community Nigeria. AIESEC Alumni
chapters now exist 30 states with its Leadership in Jos, Plateau State.
