APC Screening Committee Approves Bagos for Jos South/Jos East Reps Bid

Former member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Dachung Musa Bagos, has been screened and cleared by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bagos was successfully screened by the APC screening committee in Abuja, paving the way for his participation in the party’s primary election for the federal constituency race.

The former lawmaker expressed appreciation to party leaders, supporters, and members of the constituency for their continued confidence and support, assuring them of his commitment to quality representation, inclusive leadership, and grassroots development.

He reiterated his resolve to continue advocating for policies and programmes that would improve the welfare of the people, strengthen security, and promote youth and women empowerment across Jos South and Jos East Local Government Areas.

Supporters of the former lawmaker described his clearance as a positive development for the constituency, noting that his experience and track record in the National Assembly position him as a strong contender in the race.

The APC screening and clearance process is part of preparations by the party ahead of its primary elections for the 2027 general elections.
