Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed speculation that she has reconciled with her ex-husband, music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
Rumours of the former couple getting back together began circulating after an old video of them enjoying themselves at a nightclub resurfaced on social media. The speculation intensified over the weekend, with unverified claims also suggesting the pair were expecting a third child together.
Reacting to the reports on Monday via her Instagram Stories, Annie described the circulating videos and claims as false, clarifying that the footage being shared was from the past.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than two decades together.
Since their separation, 2Baba has moved on and is now married to politician Natasha Osawaru.
Annie’s latest statement appears to have put to rest the rumours, reaffirming that the videos currently making the rounds on social media are old and do not indicate any reconciliation between the former couple.
