Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has revealed that she quietly welcomed a baby girl, named Baby Sal, two years ago, choosing to keep the news private until now.

In a post shared on Instagram on her birthday, the actress explained that she decided to keep the pregnancy and birth away from public attention in order to protect her peace and fully enjoy the moment with her family.

She said the journey was deeply personal and came with silent challenges, adding that she had to navigate a period of growth and emotional strength while maintaining her public image.

According to her, the decision to remain private was intentional, stressing that not every blessing needs public validation or announcement.

“Today, on my birthday, I’m finally sharing what we’ve protected for over two years,” she wrote.

She added that while the public saw one version of her, she was privately experiencing a different and more personal chapter of her life.

“We chose privacy. Not because we owed anyone secrecy but because peace is priceless, and not everything good needs an audience. We wanted to enjoy our blessing,” she added.

Addressing speculation, Adunni Ade firmly stated that no marriage or home was broken in the process of welcoming her daughter.

“Not every single mother fits your assumptions. Not every story is scandal. Not every blessing comes with drama attached… P.S. no single home is or was broken in the making of our Baby Sal,” she wrote.

The actress, who already has two sons, expressed gratitude to fans and well-wishers for their support and prayers, describing her daughter as an answered prayer after nearly a decade-long journey.

Her revelation has since sparked widespread reactions across social media, with fans congratulating her and praising her decision to keep her private life away from public scrutiny.
