Retired Major General Abubakar Rabe, who was abducted in Katsina State two weeks ago, has been reported dead, according to DailyTrust.
The late military officer was kidnapped on Saturday, May 30, while travelling to Katsina State with his wife, Hajiya Amina Abubakar, and their driver, Abdullahi Sa’idu.
The victims were said to have been ambushed along the Marabar Musawa–Kafinsoli road in Matazu Local Government Area before being taken away by the assailants.
Details surrounding the circumstances of his reported death remain unclear at the time of filing this report.
