50 Cent Makes Fresh Allegation Against ‘Power’ Creator Courtney Kemp Amid Feud

American rapper and television producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has made a fresh allegation against Courtney A. Kemp, the creator of the hit crime drama series Power, amid their ongoing public feud.

The rapper alleged that Kemp had sexual relationships with cast and crew members of the Starz series in a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, October 18, 2026. However, he did not provide evidence to substantiate the allegation.

The latest development followed a recent interview with Variety, in which 50 Cent said he had no intention of working with Kemp again, citing disagreements over their past collaboration on Power.

During the interview, the rapper claimed that his music, business pitch and involvement in presenting the project to former Starz executive Chris Albrecht played a significant role in getting the series approved.

Kemp subsequently responded to his comments, disputing aspects of his recollection of the show’s production and budget management. She maintained that she had never downplayed his contribution to the series, while clarifying that he did not write or create the show.

“I have never once understated his importance in the genesis of ‘Power,’” Kemp said, adding that she was bewildered by his continued references to her in interviews and podcasts.

She also said she had moved on professionally and hoped the success of his upcoming film, Street Fighter, would help him do the same.

Responding to Kemp’s statement, 50 Cent shared her remarks on Instagram and explained that he had mentioned her because the interviewer had asked him about people he would not want to work with again.

“Wow, Variety ask me who I wasn’t looking forward to working with again, so I said Courtney. I thought I was being nice; I didn’t even mention her sleeping with cast and crew members,” he wrote.

The latest exchange has reignited public attention on the former collaborators’ strained relationship and their differing accounts of their respective contributions to Power.

Kemp created the series and served as its showrunner, while 50 Cent was an executive producer and portrayed Kanan Stark. The crime drama went on to spawn several spin-offs.

As of the latest reports, Kemp had not publicly responded to the specific allegation about cast and crew members. The claim remains unverified.
