Hon. Natasha Osawaru-Idibia, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly and wife of Nigerian music star 2Baba, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC).
Osawaru-Idibia, who represents Egor Constituency in the 8th Edo State House of Assembly, announced her decision after visiting the residence of the National Chairman of the NDC, Seriake Dickson, where she reportedly obtained her membership card and publicly identified with the party.
She also confirmed the development in a post shared on her Instagram page, where she uploaded photos from her meeting with former Rabiu Kwankwaso and former Peter Obi.
Before her defection, Osawaru-Idibia was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party and served under the platform in the Edo State legislature.
