Residents of Vwang in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State came out in thousands on Sunday to honor former House of Representatives member, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, for his exceptional dedication, representation and exemplary service to the People
The event, organized by Vwang youths in Honor of Hon. Bagos, saw the plateau state Governor, Caleb Mutfwang receiving praises for implementing people-friendly policies and spearheading infrastructural development to enhance the quality of life for citizens. Both Governor Mutfwang and Hon. Bagos were commended for their commitment to addressing the concerns and needs of the community through various programs and initiatives focused on their welfare.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at the rally, Governor Mutfwang expressed gratitude for their unwavering support that led to his victory in the last election. He assured the community of his administration’s dedication to delivering good governance and improving their standard of living. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of supporting Hon. Bagos despite his departure from the House of Representatives, urging the community to continue rallying behind him for the progress of Vwang, Jos South, and Plateau State.
In response, Hon. Bagos, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Lydia Dachung, appreciated the Vwang youths for the celebration, promising to continue serving the people to the best of his ability. He called on the community to maintain their unwavering support for Governor Mutfwang and himself, stressing the importance of unity and cooperation for the development of Vwang and Plateau State.
The Gwom Rwey Vwang, Da. Gyang Balak, expressed gratitude to Governor Mutfwang for his support to the Vwang community, urging him to prioritize the completion of the bypass from Jos through the community to facilitate smoother transportation.
Also present at the event were Senator Dachungyang Mwadkon, Rt. Hon. Amb. Dewan Kudangbena Gabriel, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, and other dignitaries including Arch. Samuel N. Jatau, Secretary to the government of the State, and Hon. David Ombugadu, PDP Gubernatorial candidate from Nasarawa State.
