Rev. Steve Dangana, recently appointed as Special Adviser to the Plateau State Governor, acknowledged the power of continuous prayer as an essential tool for navigating the complexities of governance. Hosting members of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) State Advisory Council and EXCO on Friday, March 15th, 2024, at the Citadel of Peace Assembly, located on Liberty Boulevard by the Nigerian Film Corporation in Jos, Dangana emphasized the need for divine guidance in decision-making.
Expressing profound gratitude for the unwavering support extended by the PFN, Rev. Dr. Dangana commended Governor Mutfwang for his inclusive approach, transcending tribal and ethnic considerations in appointments. “I am deeply honored by the Governor’s decision to entrust me with this role, which signifies a departure from tribal and ethnic biases,” remarked Dangana. He urged the PFN to leverage its influence, particularly through fervent prayers for the political leaders of the state, recognizing the daunting challenges inherent in governance.

Leading the delegation, State PFN Chairman Rev. Dunka Gomwalk expressed unwavering support and solidarity with Rev. Dr. Dangana, emphasizing his exceptional leadership exhibited during his tenure within the PFN. “Your elevation to the esteemed position of Special Adviser on Religious Affairs to Governor Mutfwang comes as no surprise to us, given your exceptional leadership qualities demonstrated over the years within our esteemed Fellowship. The visit concluded with the presentation of a card and several goodwill messages, describing Rev. Dangana as a beacon of peace and wisdom.
