Tragedy struck in Plateau State as gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, claimed the lives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Spokesperson, Honorable Sylvanus Namang, and businessman Sunny Best in a fatal attack in Pankshin Local Government Area.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday night, left Honorable Namang fatally wounded, succumbing to his injuries shortly thereafter. As the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Plateau State, Namang’s untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the political community.
Confirming the devastating news, APC Plateau State Chairman, Honorable Rufus Bature, expressed his condolences to the press in Jos. The loss of Namang, a dedicated party member, has left a void in the political landscape of the state.

Namang, a former director at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), served as the General Manager of Lafia FM Radio for four years before assuming the role of APC Spokesperson in Plateau State.
