In a recent press release from the State House, it has been confirmed that President Bola Tinubu has appointed a new board for the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC). The appointments include nine qualified Nigerians who will play pivotal roles in overseeing the activities of the commission.
The appointed individuals and their respective roles are as follows:
1. Colonel Aloche Adole — Chairman
2. Dr. Stephen Adegbite — Secretary
3. Omowumi Olubunmi Ogunlola — Member, South West
4. Clement Alobu Nweke — Member, South East
5. Chief Prince Weli Wosu — Member, South South
6. Prof. Joseph Haruna Mamman — Member, North West
7. Dr. Toma Hamidu Ragnjiya — Member, North East
8. Dr. Simon Abu Samson Dolly — Member, North Central
9. Bishop Raphael Benjamin Nwankwo — Representative, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)
In his capacity as the President of the country, Tinubu has tasked the newly appointed board members with the responsibility of considering their roles as opportunities to serve the nation diligently. He urges them to commit wholeheartedly to the important purpose they are entrusted with.
