Jos Plateau witnessed a heavenly spectacle on Friday, December 1st, as the Yeshua Kingdom Foundation, affectionately known as the 10 Commandments, orchestrated a grand Annual Thanksgiving Concert at the majestic 10 Commandments Monument in Dwei Du.
The event featured an extraordinary lineup of gospel music performances, resonating with soul-uplifting melodies from renowned artists including Moses Bliss, Neken Chuwang, Apostle Daps, G-willis, Ezra Jinang, and Steve Williz. Their unique flair graced the stage, ensuring a memorable musical journey for the multitude of attendees.
Among the distinguished guests was Plateau State Governor, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Speaker of the House of Assembly, and other executive members. Governor Mutfwang delivered a heartfelt goodwill message, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to gather. He called for unity among Plateau citizens, emphasized the need for prayers amid challenges, and maintained his unwavering belief in God.
“I want you to use this festival of praise as a platform to draw near to God. Let us also maximize the spirit of prayer that has become part of the people of Plateau. Do not despair as you end the year; rather, be full of praise,” urged Governor Mutfwang.
The President of the Yeshua Kingdom Foundation International, Senator Jonah David Jang, a former Governor of Plateau state, highlighted the foundation’s non-denominational mission in pursuit of the great commission. The 10 Commandments Monument, built as a prayer altar for all nations, has been effectively functioning for the past two years with the goal of bringing the truth of the word of God for the salvation of the lost, transformation, and spiritual growth in Christ Jesus.
In his brief address, Jang emphasized that this year’s Thanksgiving provided an opportunity to assess spiritual health in the ways of God. He urged attendees to be conscious of their spiritual well-being, in addition to mental and physical health, taking stock and being more aware of the ways of God.
Pastor Emmanuel Kure, representing Pastor EA Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Church of God, delivered a soul-lifting ministration of the word of God, enhancing the divine atmosphere of gratitude, unity, and the uplifting power of gospel music at the 10 Commandments Monument in Jos Plateau State, setting the stage for the Christmas Season.
