The organised labour in Nigeria has officially suspended its nationwide strike that commenced on Tuesday, November 14, in response to the assault on the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero.
The strike was called off hours after the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, met leaders of the organised labour over the nationwide strike.
Ribadu had also said that those who caused the strike by attacking Nigeria Labour Congress chairman, Joe Ajaero, have been arrested.
