In a significant development for the Conference of Autochthonous Ethnic Nationalities, Community Development Association (CONAECDA), Comrade Sunday D. Dankaka, the National President of the Mwaghavul Youth Movement, has assumed the role of Youth Wing President.
CONAECDA, an institution dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by indigenous people and communities in the Middle Belt and Northern Nigeria, saw the inauguration of Comrade SD Dankaka on October 28th, 2023, following a meticulous one-year background check on candidates.
The Middle Belt, covering the North-Central region and bordered by the North-East and North-West geopolitical zones, represents a diverse cultural environment with a concentration of ethnically related people.
The leadership hierarchy of CONAECDA’s Youth Wing includes positions such as Youth Vice Presidents for different regions, National and Zonal Coordinators, and a National Student Coordinator.
Comrade SD Dankaka’s emergence as the Youth Wing President of CONAECDA was met with acclaim from the Mwaghavul Youth Movement, recognizing his dedication to community service and his standing among the fifteen nominees for the position.
Members of the Mwaghavul Youth Movement expressed their delight on social media platforms, welcoming Dankaka to one of the country’s most dynamic leadership communities. They expressed confidence in his ability to address longstanding challenges and praised his hard work that led to the unreserved endorsement by CONAECDA’s National Executives.
