Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed rumors suggesting that the club will sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Despite hailing Osimhen as “one of the best in Europe,” Ancelotti stated that Real Madrid had not considered pursuing the player.
Osimhen led the Serie A club to their first title in 33 years last season.
He also won the league’s top goalscorer award with an impressive 26 goals, making him the first African to do so.
His remarkable achievements saw him linked with Madrid, PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, Ancelotti, as per Fussball, has unequivocally put an end to the speculation, stating, “Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe, but to be honest, we never thought of him.”
