Martina Nentawe wife of the APC Gubernatorial candidate on Monday 31st January, paid a familiarization visit to interface with women of Riyom, Jos North, and Bassa LGAs of Plateau State.
During her visit, Mrs. Martina Nentawe met with widows and community women groups where she took time explaining to the women the plans her husband have for women, youths, and people living with disabilities and assured them that if elected, she’ll leave no stone unturned by making sure all the good plans and policies her husband has for them become a reality.
She demonstrated this by making cash donations, food items, and wrappers to the widows, the old, and the less privileged.
Her Excellency equally used the opportunity to appeal to the women to come out and collect their Permanent Voter Cards. She then solicited support and votes for her husband and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The women were happy for the humane and kind gesture of Dr. Mrs. Martina Nentawe Yilwatda, describing her visit as a recognition of the highest order to them; one they never had before, and considered it as a show of love/humility. Aside from the earlier royal blessings she received at the Palace of Ujah of Anaguta, prayers were also meted on her by the women too. The women promised not only their votes, but also to go all out and campaign for Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and all APC candidates, and to ensure that they emerge victorious at the forthcoming general polls.
Dr. Martina and her entourage were first at Ganawuri, Riyom LGA of Plateau where they were received at the Palace of At’aten of Ganawuri by the wife of the First Class monarch and wife of Riyom council chairman, Mrs. Mafeng Gwalson on a homage visit and to seek royal blessings.
From there, Martina went to Bassa LGA of Plateau State where she interfaced with leaders of the widow’s group, other women’s groups, and community associations in BACHIT(RUKUBA).
Rounding up activities for the day they proceeded to the Palace of Ujah of Anaguta, Jos North LGA also on the same mission. She was also received by the Royal father and his wife at the Palace. Royal blessings were showered on her by the Monarch.
She thanked the royals for their warm reception and blessings.
Finally, the First Lady in waiting went to the office of the Executive Chairman, Jos North LGA Amb. Shehu Bala Usman on a Courtesy visit. She was received by the chairman, supporters, and many well-wishers of the LGA.
Among her entourage are; the wife of the Plateau State APC gubernatorial running mate, Mrs. Pam Botman, the wife of the Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Mrs. Yakubu Sanda, leaders of women of different groups, community leaders, and many others.
