A woman whose marriage lasted only three months has shared details of her experience while participating in a viral social media trend.
The trend, known as the “Preparing for My Netflix Documentary” challenge, sees users jokingly present themselves as though they are introducing a future Netflix documentary before revealing a surprising or significant personal experience.
Joining the challenge, an Instagram user identified by the handle @Saadaah_marafah claimed that her short-lived marriage was marked by several troubling incidents.
“Preparing for my Netflix documentary on surviving a three-month marriage where my ex-husband booked a room with his male friend on our honeymoon, hugged other women in front of me, tried to set me up with other men, and somehow convinced me those weren’t enough reasons to leave,” she wrote.
She added in the caption, “That’s not even the craziest part.”
Her post attracted widespread attention, with many social media users expressing shock and sympathy in the comment section.
