A middle aged woman of 6
Division of Army Barracks of the Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt Barracks
has been arrested after she beat her 10 year old step daughter to death
for eating the plantain bought by her dad.
The
husband who is also a soldier was present when the beating was taking
place and even walked out a female soldier from his house when she tried
to intervene.
The young girl was reported to have slumped from
the excessive beating before they hurriedly rushed her to the hospital
where she was pronounced dead.
The woman and her husband have since been arrested.
