Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to his emergence
as the People Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate ahead of the
2019 general elections.
Atiku polled the highest votes to defeat his closest rival, Aminu Tambuwal who polled 693.
In a swift reaction Atiku on his official Twitter page, the Turakin Adamawa thanked PDP for believing in him.
He wrote, ”@OfficialPDPNig, thank you for choosing me. This is a
victory for all of us. The task to get Nigeria working again starts now.
#NigeriaWillWork#LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain”
