A video showing men dressed in what appear to be police uniforms forcing a suspect into the boot of a vehicle has sparked widespread concern on social media.
The footage was shared by activist Harrison Gwamnishu, who described the incident as “insane” and called on the Nigeria Police Force to investigate those involved.
Gwamnishu also questioned whether the individuals in the video were genuine police officers, urging the authorities to verify their identities and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The video has generated public concern, with many social media users calling for a thorough investigation to establish the authenticity of the officers, the identity of the suspect, and whether the arrest was conducted in accordance with the law.
