Victor Osimhen’s Market Value Drops From €75m to €65m

Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has seen his estimated market value fall from €75 million to €65 million in the latest Transfermarkt update.

The €10 million reduction takes Osimhen to his lowest market valuation in four years. His value was last recorded at €65 million in June 2022, when he was 23 and playing for Napoli.

Osimhen’s valuation stood at €100 million when he joined Galatasaray on loan in September 2024, making him the most valuable player in the Turkish Süper Lig at the time. Transfermarkt subsequently reduced his valuation following his move away from one of Europe’s top five leagues.

His value later fell to €70 million before rising to €75 million after Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer from Napoli for €75 million in July 2025. Transfermarkt maintained the €75 million valuation as recently as May 2026.

The latest figure is €55 million below Osimhen’s career-high valuation of €120 million, which he reached during his time at Napoli. However, the reduction does not mean that Galatasaray has reduced the amount it paid for the Nigerian striker or that his transfer fee is now €65 million. It is an estimated market valuation by Transfermarkt.

Despite the decline, Osimhen remains the highest-valued player in the Turkish league according to the latest Transfermarkt figures. He is valued at €65 million, ahead of Rafael Leão at €50 million, Dušan Vlahović at €35 million and Mohamed Salah at €22 million.

The latest valuation comes despite Osimhen making a strong start to the 2026/27 season for Galatasaray, with reports putting his tally at six goals and two assists in four league appearances.
